Workshops and Monthly Dance

 

Dancers of all levels can improve their technique by joining Phil's workshops.  You will learn the finer points of Nightclub Two-Step and West Coast Swing "hitting the breaks" in a fun filled environment at Hacienda's Double "H" club.
 
Following Phil's workshops is Swingtime's free monthly dance party where you can practice what you have learned and boogie all evening long on three large dance floors to the tunes of one of Southern California's hottest DJs, Jumpin Jack Smith.

Monthly Dance Workshops:  

When:      Saturday, 8pm       June 7th

      Night Club 2 step for Beginners 3 - 5pm $20 

                    * easy to learn

                    * learn from the best

      Night Club 2 step Intermediate/Advanced 5pm - 7pm, $20

                *one of the most practical and versatile social dances

                 *learn new techniques and patterns, intermediate level

      Hitting the Breaks WCS  7pm - 8pm, $10

                  *learn to hear the music

                  *learn what to do when you hear a break in the music or a phrase change

                  * you need to know the basics of WCS

      Both workshops only $25,    Swingtime Dance Club Members save $5 

 

                   

Swingtime Monthly Dance Party 8pm, immediately following workshops

           The dance party is FREE!!!!! (you don't have to attend the workshops to get in for free)
